Salary: £30,212

Grade: RCS N

Contract Type: 12 Month Secondment (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Any 5 days from 7, including early, day, and late shifts (with every 1 in 4 weekends, Saturday OR Sunday)

Location: Motherwell - ML4 3NW

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Transport First Line Manager to coordinate our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

What does the role entail?

As part of your duties, maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Work rotational shift patterns: 06:00-14:00, 10:00-18:30, 14:00-22:30, with 1 in 4 Saturdays 06:00-14:30
• Lead and manage drivers as a 21st-century manager
• Ensure safe, legal, and efficient transport operations during your shift to meet SLA's and KPI's
• Ensure driver and fleet legal compliance during your shift according to DHL Asset Management Centre of Excellence standards
• Understand roles and responsibilities applicable to your role and team
• Serve as the point of contact for all drivers during your shift
