Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Bristol is looking for a Transport Driver Trainer to lead inductions, CPC training and ongoing driver development. You will manage 5 day driver inductions, organise CPC modules and review DPRAs, with focus on safety and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2 years C+E driving experience, strong organisational skills and the ability to train others. The role offers full-time permanent employment with pension and benefits in a busy logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Introduction, performing 5 day driver induction for all new starters, assisting with inductions for other colleagues
• Manual handling training including that of media
• EPT Training
• DHL Training, uploading training documents to DHL training website and housekeeping duties
• CPC, organising and booking CPC periodic training, delivering CPC modules and generating revenue where applicable
• DPRA, reviewing, creating and amending all DPRA's
• Tacho infringements, reviewing and retraining drivers hours infringements
• Gatehouse & yard audits, 10% yard/gatehouse exit checks
• Microlise training and admin, targeting bottom five drivers and weekly improvement conversations
• Mystery shopper, minimum of 5 per month safety conversations

Pay Rate: £43,569.05 + £1,040 Job responsibility premium
Grade: O
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday - Friday, 48 hours per week, start time between 4 and 6 am.
Location: Bristol

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Introduction, performing 5 day driver induction for all new starters, assisting with when required performing inductions for other colleagues i.e transport admin
• Manual handling training including that of media
• EPT Training
• DHL Training, uploading all the necessary training documents to DHL training website, performing regular housekeeping duties i.e removing drivers that have left the business
• CPC, organising and booking of drivers CPC periodic training, delivering CPC modules and generating revenue where applicable
• DPRA , responsible for reviewing, creating and amending all DPRA's
• Tacho infringements, reviewing and retraining drivers with regards to drivers hours infringements
• Gatehouse & yard audits, responsible for performing 10% yard/gatehouse exit vehicle and driver checks
• Microlise training and admin, targeting bottom five drivers and performing weekly conversations to action improvement areas.
• Mystery shopper, perform a minimum of 5 per month. Safety conversations.
