Job summary

Babcock International, at the Minley site in Hampshire, is seeking a Transport Driver to support the Royal School of Military Engineering contract. The role involves transporting personnel and equipment, maintaining vehicle safety, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

On-site, with a 37-hour week, overtime may be available, and some travel outside site is possible. The successful candidate will hold a Category C driving licence (C+E and D beneficial), Driver CPC, tachograph card, and have

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence with Category C; higher categories C+E & D improve pay.
• Driver CPC and Tachograph card required.
• Experience with load restraint and load safety.
• Experience maintaining vehicle roadworthiness and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Drive personnel and equipment to training exercises and duties.
• Assist with admin tasks and deliveries across site.
• Travel up to 1.5 hours from site; perform manual tasks and use tools.
• Operate PSV and LGV vehicles and complete vehicle checks.
