Location: Priorswood Biffa, Crown Industrial Estate, Priorswood, Taunton, TA2 8QY
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 11:30 - 20:00

About the Role

We are currently seeking a reliable and organised Traffic Dispatcher to join our team at Priorswood Biffa in Taunton. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to essential recycling operations in a busy and supportive environment.

As a Traffic Dispatcher, you\u2019ll be responsible for coordinating and dispatching recycling vehicles efficiently, ensuring smooth daily operations across the site and supporting other depots as needed.

Previous experience is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily vehicle routes and driver schedules
• Communicate effectively with drivers and site teams
• Respond to changes or issues in real-time and update schedules accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and logs
• Support other depots on an ad hoc basis as required

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a logistics, dispatch, or similar environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Good level of English (written and spoken)
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• A flexible approach and willingness to cover other sites occasionally
