Transport & Dispatch Coordinator | Fresh Produce | Kent

We\'re partnered with a well-established business in Kent who need a hands on Logistics and Dispatch Coordinator to drive the daily outbound logistics. You\'ll be working with a team of 2 dispatch admins ensuring everything is running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Leading the distribution team to drive performance standards and ensure a smooth operation within the dispatch area.
• Liaising with hauliers across multiple clients to coordinate deliveries in accordance with orders to maintain high customer service levels.
• Supporting the admin team and contributing to their development.
• Working with the wider team to plan and create a culture of continuous performance improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a dispatch, transport or logistics coordination role, ideally within food, FMCG, or fresh produce.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time-critical operations.
• A working knowledge of transport legislation and Health & Safety compliance.
• Clear communication and confidence liaising with multiple departments.
• Proactive problem-solving and a continuous improvement mindset.

• A Monday to Friday role with office-based hours (occasional weekend work to cover admin team is required).
