A logistics and dispatch company in Tonbridge is seeking a Transport & Dispatch Coordinator. You will lead a distribution team, coordinate deliveries with hauliers, and ensure smooth operations. Ideal candidates have experience in logistics roles, particularly within fresh produce or FMCG. The position offers a salary of £35k-£40k, along with generous holidays and a Monday to Friday schedule.

Transport & Dispatch Coordinator | Fresh Produce | Kent

We're partnered with a well-established business in Kent who need a hands on Logistics and Dispatch Coordinator to drive the daily outbound logistics. You'll be working with a team of 2 dispatch admins ensuring everything is running smoothly

What you'll be doing:

* Leading the distribution team to drive performance standards and ensure a smooth operation within the dispatch area.
* Liaising with hauliers across multiple clients to coordinate deliveries in accordance with orders to maintain high customer service levels
* Supporting the admin team and adding to their own personal development
* Working with the wider team looking at planning and and focusing on creating a culture of continuous performance

What you'll need:

* Experience in a dispatch, transport or logistics coordination role, ideally within food, FMCG, or fresh produce
* Excellent organisational skills with an ability to manage time-critical operations
* A working knowledge of transport legislation and Health & Safety compliance
* Clear communication and confidence liaising with multiple departments
* Proactive problem-solving and a continuous improvement mindset
