Introduction

As an Arla Transport Coordinator at our Aylesbury Inbound Depot you will join a multifunctional team to collaborate closely with the whole of Logistics within the business. The role will see you interacting with all levels within the organisation from Vice President to front line colleagues.

The full time role is based on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern with a guarantee of 34 hours per week, offers 22 days annual leave plus company pension scheme and access to ‘ArlaMyBenefits’ giving saving on a wide variety of goods and services.

Main Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities that come with this role are:

  • Monitoring and recording Time & Attendance (including payroll)
  • In-house ordering
  • Maintaining current administrative systems
  • Ensure that all personal/vehicle accidents are reported in full & escalated to the Team Leaders
  • Ensure all vehicles and trailers are sent for and collected from service and/or inspections, MOTs, defects and breakdowns within the required timescales and records are kept during the operational shift
  • Assisting when required in random gate/fleet checks
  • Any other duties deemed reasonable and appropriate

Skills and competencies
We are looking for an individual who has the ability to understand and take control of site administration whilst always looking for ways of improving and streamlining processes. You must have excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge where necessary. In addition we are also looking for the following:

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise to keep track of workload
  • Adaptable approach to changes in the business
  • Able to deal with sensitive/confidential information
  • High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proactive approach and ability to act on own initiative
  • Excellent numeracy and IT skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational skills
