DFDS UK & Ireland is seeking a Transport Coordinator to support drivers across shifts, monitor routes, and ensure schedules run smoothly. You will maintain records, handle operational issues, and liaise with drivers to resolve problems efficiently.

Working as part of a busy transport operation, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting drivers throughout their working day, ensuring schedules run smoothly and any issues are dealt with quickly and effectively. The role involves monitoring driver activity, maintaining accurate records and systems, and responding to operational issues as they arise.
You will be required to work a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 18:00 - 06:00.

You will have previous experience working within a transport or logistics environment, with a good understanding of UK geography and drivers’ hours regulations. You will have strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure, resolve issues quickly and build positive relationships with drivers and colleagues. A proactive approach and good attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
