A leading transport services provider in the UK is searching for an experienced Transport Coordinator to manage driver lead generation, despatch bookings, and a team of drivers, ensuring exceptional service levels and safety compliance. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2 years in a similar role, possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be knowledgeable of the local area. Bonds Transport is a provider of same day Courier and Taxi Truck services locally in each capital city of Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our Perth branch. The role includes performing the following responsibilities.

Job Description

Manage all driver lead generation for WA. Contacting prospecting drivers and applicants looking to break into the industry.

Be responsible for all lead follow ups and driver enquiries.

Despatch/Allocate bookings in a timely manner

Maintain exceptional service levels, whilst maximising sub‑contractor earnings

Working collaboratively with all other departments (Despatch, Fleet, Customer Service, WHS and Warehouse) to drive innovation and best outcomes for Bonds and its whole client base.

Being the customer service link between the drivers and key clients.

Managing a team of drivers to work effectively and efficiently.

Proactive monitoring and reporting to the client with regards to delivery schedules.

Ability to solve operational transport issues day to day.

Managing safety across COR and driver incidents.

The preferred candidate MUST possess
  • Prior, recent experience as a despatcher / fleet allocator
  • Thorough knowledge of Perth and surrounding areas
  • Have a dynamic personality and a positive attitude
  • Fleet recruitment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to find solutions under pressure, with a sense of urgency & responsibility
Key Attributes
