Overview

Do you enjoy working within a fast-paced environment and have experience of working within transportation, along with admin skills. If so, we have a great opportunity for you!

Here at GXO, we are looking for a Transport Co-ordinator to join our team in Crewe, working on our TJX contract.

You will be working 42 hours per week, on a day shift pattern working on a 4 on, 4 off shift between the hours of 06:00 18:00.

What Youll Do On a Typical Day
  • Reporting to Transport Team Leaders with all day-to-day transport activities
  • Managing transport planning related issues with a solution-based attitude
  • Liaising directly with stores to communicate delivery amendments
  • Liaising with drivers for smooth movement of goods and materials
  • Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods

What You Need To Succeed At GXO
  • Previous experience in a fast-pased transport environment.
  • Understanding of transport compliance, working time and EU driving hours.
  • Administrative experience preferably within a logistics environment
  • Computer literate, good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience of GTS planning tool would be advantageous however training will be given
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal with great attention to detail
  • Be able to work cohesively and well with others
