As a Transport Coordinator, you'll play a key role at the centre of our operation, where every action you take contributes to our customers enjoying their favourite M&S food.

Our operation in Hemel is looking for candidates who can commit to a 4 on 4 off shift pattern between the hours of 07:00 - 19:00.

What will you do & what will you need

As part of your role, you will brief and debrief drivers, being the first point of contact for all drivers and ensuring all queries are fed back to management. You will be responsible for legal O-license compliance and operational excellence, including cost and service delivery, peak planning, and delivery. Providing the highest level of customer care, resolving issues, and escalating live problems where necessary. Monitoring all routes to ensure timely delivery and escalating issues to the Team Manager on shift when appropriate. Effective time management to complete tasks within set timeframes, using Kronos exceptions & schedules. Conduct daily administrative tasks related to payroll systems, payroll queries, holidays, etc.

Ideally, you will have experience in administration within a busy transport environment, be PC literate with Word and Excel, and have great attention to detail.
