As a Transport Coordinator, you'll play a key role at the center of our operation, where every action you take contributes to our customers enjoying their favourite M&S products.

Our operation in Chesterfield is looking for candidates who can commit to a 40.25-hour working week, working a 4on/4off shift pattern between 7pm and 7am.

What will you do & what will you need

You will brief and debrief drivers, be the first point of contact for all drivers, and ensure all queries are addressed. You will be responsible for legal o-license compliance, operational excellence including cost and service, and peak planning/delivery. Providing high-level customer care, resolving issues, and escalating where necessary. Monitoring routes to ensure timeliness and escalating to the Team Manager when appropriate. Managing time effectively to complete tasks within scheduled times using Kronos exceptions & schedules. Conducting daily administrative tasks related to payroll, holidays, and queries.

Ideally, you will have experience in a busy transport environment, be PC literate with Word and Excel skills, and have great attention to detail.
