A logistics company in Blackburn is seeking a Transport Coordinator to ensure service excellence for clients. This role involves coordinating domestic and international transport, managing customer requirements, and preparing data. Ideal candidates will excel in customer service and communication. We’re looking for a Transport Coordinator to join our team at Wincanton in Blackburn. You will have a critical role in ensuring that we deliver day to day service excellence to our clients.
Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Security Clearance

Day to Day
Reporting to the Transport Supervisor.
To co-ordinate transport moves both domestically and internationally from the start to end process.
To ensure all PODs for all transport are requested and are returned accordingly.
An understanding of specific customer requirements.
Collate and provide data to the Customer with their weekly transport costs.
Prepare monthly KPI data for Customer period packs.
Using the online booking and transport management systems.
What will you bring?
Experience working in a challenging customer service environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience working within a transport operation, with an ability to work on own initiative.
Customer driven with an attention to detail are essential for this position
The individual must have excellent time management skills with a positive team working attitude.
The individual must have an enthusiastic, committed, flexible and can-do approach.
