Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Transport Compliance Manager to join our team in Swindon, supporting our customer Iceland. You will oversee all transport/fleet compliance matters across a large fleet, ensuring excellence in vehicle maintenance, operational efficiency and compliance with all relevant legal and safety regulations.

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:30. However, we do ask for some flexibility, this is logistics after all!

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Support the Transport Manager with fleet management such as vehicle maintenance, EU driver’s hours legislation, tachograph data processing etc.
  • Ensure safety legislation is adhered to and safe working practices are always adopted
  • Regular assessment of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness – post incident and repair
  • Driving License, CPC and DQC periodic checks and follow-ups

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • International CPC holder is essential
  • Experience managing budgets and driving financial performance and accountability through direct reports
  • Proven ability to implement strategies for improved performance and efficiency
