Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services in London Heathrow is seeking a Transport Compliance Manager to lead transport compliance, fleet governance and operational standards across our UK operation. You will drive accountable processes and ensure legal and regulatory compliance within a busy fleet environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Manager CPC.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Operator Licence compliance and UK/EU transport legislation.
• Experience managing compliance within a commercial fleet environment.
• Strong understanding of Working Time Directive regulations and driver compliance.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance planning and fleet governance processes.
• Proven people management and leadership experience.
• Experience conducting investigations, hearings and disciplinary processes.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making and organisational skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with regulators, customers and internal stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with Operator Licence undertakings and transport legislation.
• Maintain oversight of vehicle inspections, maintenance programmes, fleet documentation and audit readiness.
• Monitor fleet utilisation and operational performance, identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support the transport team to deliver against targets, service levels and compliance objectives.
• Lead investigations into incidents, accidents and compliance breaches with corrective actions.
• Champion a strong health, safety and compliance culture across the operation.
• Provide coaching and support to managers and supervisors to ensure standards.
• Produce compliance reports, analyse performance data and provide recommendations.

We are looking for a highly capable Transport Compliance Manager to take the lead on transport compliance, fleet governance, and operational standards across our UK operation. This role is ideal for an experienced transport professional who thrives on building robust processes, driving accountability, and ensuring compliance is embedded in everything we do.

Working closely with the UK Transport Manager, you'll provide expert oversight of Operator Licence compliance, fleet maintenance controls, transport legislation, and health & safety performance. You'll play a vital role in safeguarding our operation, supporting operational teams, and ensuring the business remains fully compliant while delivering exceptional service. As Transport Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of legal and operational compliance across the fleet. You'll provide leadership, guidance, and assurance to management teams while driving continuous improvement in transport performance.

Key Responsibilities
