Job description

Due to business growth our client are actively looking for a Transport Compliance / Planner / Controller in their NORTHAMPTON location

The main responsibilities within the Transport Compliance / Planner / Coordinator role are:

- Big focus on compliance, fleet maintenance control, PMI, O Licence awareness and control, WITD, Drivers hours etc
- Allocation of work to couriers in a fair and transparent manner.
- Taking bookings accurately and advising clients of our services.
- Monitoring of jobs through to POD and completion.
- Implementing and maintaining Service Level Agreements.
- Proactively keeping clients and fellow employees informed of any delays or issues.
- Ensure your fleet size is sufficient to service your clients particularly during peak periods - maintain levels and recruit drivers when required.
- Any other duties instructed by Operations manager or directors

Handle the out of hours duty phone 1 week in 3.

Hours are 8/9am start - Monday to Friday (flexibility will be required) - 40-45hr week
