Overview

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Transport Compliance Auditor to conduct regular audits and compliance checks within our fast-paced transport and logistics operation.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal Transport Compliance audits
• Identify and communicate audit findings and provide recommendations
• Provide direction and coaching to all team members in the completion of internal audits to improve compliance
• Provide analytical feedback of audit results, identify common trends and target areas for improvement
• Perform vehicle spot checks with drivers, ensuring best practice standards are adhered to
• Ensure compliance with transport laws, safety standards, and company policies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an auditing role within distribution and warehousing environments
• Strong understanding of DVSA Operator Licence procedures
• Proficient in fleet and tachograph management systems
• Demonstrated experience in developing and executing audit plans
• Highly self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable to change
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data effectively
• Exceptional attention to detail, maintaining accuracy in high-pressure, fast-paced settings
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
