Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supporting the QHSE Manager, ensuring all transport related safety, compliance and loss prevention matters are dealt with in line with legislation and best practice.
• Support the Transport Manager in ensuring all their legal and company compliance tasks are complete and to the correct standard.
• Review Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work for all tasks carried out within the transport operation.
• Provide regular reports to the Leadership team across the Sherburn site.

Qualifications/Experience

• Previous experience in a transport compliance role, ideally within a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Strong working knowledge of transport compliance & regulations.
• The ability to establish strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels along with a results and success-driven approach focusing on identifying and sharing best practice.

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:00 till 16:30. We do require flexibility on some occasions; this is logistics after all. We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £38,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
