We are looking for a Transport Coordinator to join our dynamic team and help drive operational excellence across our transport network.

Job Details
  • Location: Wednesbury (WS10)
  • Hours: Full-time | Contract: Permanent
  • Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Responsibilities

As our Transport Coordinator, you will be the key link between our drivers, warehouse, and clients, ensuring every delivery is executed smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Driver Briefing & Support: Clearly communicate workloads, provide accurate documentation, and resolve delivery issues swiftly.
  • Fleet & Equipment Management: Oversee vehicle maintenance, defect reporting, and compliance with VOSA standards.
  • Health & Safety Leadership: Enforce site safety policies, issue PPE, and ensure all drivers follow regulations.
  • Security Oversight: Implement and monitor strict security procedures, including spot checks and trailer PIN lock installations.
  • Admin & Communication: Manage PODs, liaise with return load companies, and investigate missing or damaged goods.
  • Personal Development: Continuously improve your skills and knowledge to enhance your role and team performance.
