Transport Co-ordinator
Location: Cardiff, CF3 2ER
Shifts: 08:00 - 17:00
Pay Rate: £28k - £30k a year

We are looking for Transport Co-ordinator to join our team in Cardiff on a temporary ongoing basis and possibly a permanent position for the right candidate!

Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions

Key Responsibilities:

Scheduling driver runs and communicating daily work plans
Managing service and MOT bookings; updating maintenance planners
Monitoring vehicle compliance (VOR, defects, driver checks)
Ensuring safety procedures are followed and incidents are logged (Evotix system)
Tracking driver performance and system use (Optifleet, Vue, ePod, TC75)
Liaising with third-party contractors, agencies, and site maintenance teams
Attending daily operations calls and supporting planning updates
Logging timesheets, absences, and quality events
Requirements:

Experience in a transport or logistics environment (ideally with fleet/driver management exposure)
Strong communication skills - verbal, written, and digital
Ability to work with operational systems like Optifleet, Vue, or similar
Detail-focused with a proactive approach to safety and compliance
A natural team player who thrives under pressure
