Join Our Team as a Transport Coordinator – Bridgwater Depot
We’re hiring a Transport Coordinator to join our team at the Bridgwater Depot within the Müller Milk & Ingredients Distribution Business.
In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll play a key part in coordinating transport operations that deliver both value and compliance.

- Shift: Day shift – 0600 – 1800
- 4on4off
- Salary: £33,007.41
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage daily milk plan for direct ex-farm deliveries and reload.
- Manage and allocate resources for the daily cream delivery schedule ensuring delivery windows are agreed and achieved. Ensure Trading are notified on any changes to the plan.
- Manage and allocate resources for collection / delivery schedule ensuring delivery windows are agreed and achieved. Ensure Trading are notified on any changes to the plan.
- Manage and measure on turnaround time performance for milk and cream schedules.
- Manage daily backload schedule ensuring that the most cost effective routes are used.
- Responsible for the daily allocation of sub contractor (SC) haulage support for the reload operation.
- Supervise on site fuel bunkering deliveries
- Responsible for the management of vehicle swabbing data, reporting and escalation of OOS results.
- Ability to step down/up/across to support all functions, admin, driving and management
- Supports compliance systems and gathers evidence for audits
- Understands the impact of own actions and others on achieving site/business OGSM and how it impacts the bottom line
- Be active in site audits, DTAS and off-site risk assessments
- Implement the contingency plan if/when the depot and its associated locations require
- Actively engage in KPI reporting
- Communicate with all contacts in a professional manner

· Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable
