Transport Clerk – Analytical Department (Nights)

Location: Hinckley LE10

Hours: Monday to Friday, 19:00 – 04:00

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

Contract Type: Ongoing

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Transport Clerk to join our Analytical Department during night operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-paced team focused on improving transport efficiency and performance.

Purpose of the Role:

As a Transport Clerk within the Analyst team, you’ll play a key role in identifying and investigating the causes of late inbound hub arrivals. Your insights will help drive operational improvements and service reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interrogate multiple internal systems to trace tracking history and pinpoint delay sources
  • Compile and summarise data from various platforms to identify root causes of transport delays
  • Handle general administrative tasks including telephone queries, emails, live chat, and face-to-face interactions
  • Support Transport Analysts and the Transport Manager – Systems with additional administrative duties
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in a fast-paced operational environment, ideally within transport or logistics
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace applications and general computer literacy
