We're looking for an experienced Transport Broker / Trader to join our high-performing operations team in Wakefield. • Negotiate rates confidently with hauliers and subcontractors
• Build lasting relationships with customers and carriers
• Proactively manage delivery performance and resolve issues fast
• Maintain accurate records in our TMS (Mandata)

Essential Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in transport brokerage or subcontract haulage
• Strong negotiating skills and commercial mindset
• Solid knowledge of UK geography and general haulage operations
• Familiarity with transport regulations (drivers' hours, WTD, etc.)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and transport software
• Experience using TMS (Mandata preferred)
