Role: Transport Assistant

You will support the Transport Office by maintaining documentation, managing information, and ensuring drivers depart and arrive on time. Responsibilities include processing journey details, issuing information, and managing staff shifts.

Contract Details:

• Permanent position
• Average of 42 hours/week
• 4 on, 4 off rotating days and nights
• Flexible to operational needs

About You:

• Excellent communication skills
• Organized, articulate, and proactive
• Strong PC skills
• Knowledge of transport hours and regulations

Responsibilities:

• Briefing and debriefing drivers
• Communicating effectively with customers and depots
• Supporting management in providing professional service
• Meeting deadlines within the transport team
• Generating and issuing driver journey sheets
• Producing reports on various operational metrics
• Collating weekly transport data for audits
