An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Transport and Warehouse Manager to join this growing SME based in Birmingham, The West Midlands.

THE ROLE

It will be the primary function of the Transport and Warehouse Manager to oversee the complete logistics operation, which includes a small fleet of vehicles and drivers, as well as the internal warehouse based in Coleshill.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Management of the logistics function
2. Leading and developing warehouse personnel and drivers
3. Ensuring planning systems are effective and up-to-date
4. Delivering improvement projects
5. Managing in-house group systems
6. Growing the logistics and warehouse functions

THE PERSON

To succeed as a Transport and Warehouse Manager, you should have experience operating as a supervisor or manager within a B2B logistics environment. You should be motivated by leading and developing a team, with some experience in managing projects related to planning, systems, or process improvement.
