The client

This is a first-class opportunity for an experienced Transport and Logistics professional with an exciting and innovative organisation producing bespoke spirits for the UK and European markets.

The role – Transport and Logistics Coordinator / Administrator

You will have a varied role and will be responsible for the effective management of companywide Transport and Logistics management and control.

Your duties and responsibilities will include

  • Ensuring all Transport and Logistics meet company, client and industry / regulatory requirements
  • Ensuring all Transport and Logistics meet company targets in relation to quality, cost and delivery
  • Transport and Logistics supplier sourcing, selection and on-going relationship management
  • Develop and implement transport policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with all internal and external stakeholder groups to optimise routes and schedules for maximum productivity.
  • Place and manage all daily orders
  • Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Utilise IT systems to track shipments, manage inventory levels, and analyse data for continuous improvement.

A highly professional, reliable and experienced Transport and Logistics Coordinator / Administrator, you will be able to demonstrate proven experience managing all elements of companywide transport and logistics. You will have first class communication skills and be well versed in managing multiple simultaneous tasks to ensure all incoming and outgoing materials and products meet company and client production requirements. Previous experience utilising a variety of Excel and industry material planning software essential. You will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail and will be well versed working within a small team to achieve company production requirements.
