Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week on a rota basis

Overview

About the Role Were looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Transport Administrator to join our busy team. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our transport operations, supporting drivers and managers, and keeping everything on track behind the scenes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the transport team.
  • Assist with scheduling drivers, vehicles, and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of transport activities, including driver hours, vehicle checks, and compliance documentation.
  • Support with route planning and allocation of resources.
  • Liaise with drivers, customers, and colleagues to resolve queries promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and company requirements.
  • Prepare reports and maintain digital systems
About You
  • Previous experience in administration minimum of 1 year ideally in a transport, logistic environment
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with people at all levels.
  • Able to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and able to work independently
  • A positive team player with a proactive approach.
