Logistics People are looking for a Transport Admin at our Great Bear Heywood depot.

Location: Heywood, OL10 2TR

Working Hours

• 5 days from 7, rotating shifts: 10 hours between 06:00 and 18:00

Pay Rate

• £14.57 per hour

As a Transport Admin for Logistics People, your role will include various duties such as:

• Administration and data entry to maintain TMS systems, reports, and HR systems.
• Inputting and monitoring drivers' holidays and sickness absence, maintaining the timekeeping and attendance system.
• Creating and providing daily customer reports for the Transport department/Management team.
• Using available TMS systems to monitor drivers' daily performance, ensuring all deliveries and collections are made on time, or escalating if issues are foreseen.
• Receiving and monitoring phone calls from customers, drivers, and other onsite departments.
• Delivering effective pre- and de-briefs, ensuring all legal compliance requirements are met.
• Retrieving all PODs for customer orders, both from subcontractors and own fleet.
• Providing various reports/spreadsheets for internal departments promptly.
• Supporting the department with O-licence requirements, such as defect reporting and safety brief sign-offs.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed under pressure
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, Word, Outlook (or equivalent)
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
• Experience in an FMCG environment is desirable
