At AstraZeneca, our Translational Science Lead (TSL) plays a pivotal role in our Precision Medicine groups within the Translational Science and Experimental Medicine (TSEM) department. We are committed to understanding disease mechanisms at the molecular level, identifying the most relevant targets, and driving patient stratification in Respiratory & Immunology (R&I) diseases. As a TSL, you will lead the development of translational science strategies, ensuring target engagement and human target validation, and delivering evidence to confirm proof-of-mechanism in clinical trials. This role spans from conceptual target ideas through early drug development and all clinical phases, including Phase 3 and life cycle management opportunities.
