Translational Biology / Translational Research – Associate Director / Director

Our client, an innovative biotechnology company, is seeking a talented and driven Translational Biology / Translational Research Director to join their growing team. This role aims to bridge the gap between laboratory discoveries and clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement translational research plans in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
2. Define biomarker and pathway strategies to understand drug response and support clinical development.
3. Design and execute proof-of-mechanism and proof-of-concept studies with clinical and bioanalytical teams.
4. Engage with external CROs and academic institutions to enhance translational capabilities.
5. Contribute to target identification and scientific direction of the ADC portfolio.
6. Oversee project deliverables, timelines, budgets, and mentor junior staff.
7. Propose and adopt innovative methods in translational science.

Required Experience:

1. PhD or equivalent in molecular biology, pharmacology, or related fields.
2. Experience in translational research within biotech, pharma, or academia.
3. Strong knowledge of oncology drug development and biomarkers.
4. Experience working with cross-functional teams and external collaborators.
5. Excellent communication and scientific writing skills.
6. Passion for innovation and patient impact.
