Transition Teacher

A community-run, Outstanding-rated SEN school in Lambeth is looking to expand its team for the upcoming year. This outstanding Ofsted-rated school seeks a Transition Teacher to instruct Year 7 students in a static or primary format. This means students will remain in the same classroom as they transition into secondary education.

The Transition Teacher Role

The students follow a student-centred curriculum emphasizing choices, independence, and understanding the world around them. As a Transition Teacher, you will create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment tailored to each student's needs. Your background as a KS2 or Transition Teacher will be essential in developing individualised learning plans that foster engagement, independence, and social skills.
