Transition Teacher

A community-run, Outstanding-rated SEN school in Lambeth is looking to expand their team for the upcoming year. This outstanding Ofsted-rated school seeks a Transition Teacher to teach Year 7 students in a static or primary format. This approach involves students remaining in the classroom as they transition into secondary education.

The Transition Teacher Role:

The students follow a student-centered curriculum emphasizing choices, independence, and awareness of the world. Your experience as a KS2 or Transition Teacher will be vital in developing personalized learning plans that foster engagement, independence, and social skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement personalized educational programs across three pathways

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
