JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key accountabilities:

1. Develop and implement transition plans, architectures, and solutions that align with business and IT strategies.
2. Design and document the architecture for transitions, including high-level and low-level designs, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
3. Maintain comprehensive documentation of transition plans, architectures, and procedures.
4. Understand the Customer Strategy and Business Requirements.
5. Responsible for technical governance & delivery of enterprise systems and programs.
6. Create architectural technology and business roadmaps that result in stronger business/IT alignment and drive adoption and usage of technology across the enterprise.
7. Collaborate with key stakeholders and other enterprise architects to define the architecture domains.
8. Assess business needs, organizational capabilities, IT investments, and translate into actionable IT strategy using industry-proven architecture best practices.

Mandatory Skills:

1. Data Centre experience is a must.
2. Should be good in both Design and Implementation.
3. Experience in defining & translating complex Business Requirements into Technical Requirements.
4. Experience in developing High Level Design to meet Customer requirements across DC, Hybrid Cloud, EUC & BSM Technologies.
5. Provide architectural oversight of projects and maintain alignment between business strategies and business/technical architecture frameworks.
6. Ability to present high level ROI (Return on Investment) and Total cost of ownership (TCO) figures to customer senior management during presentation and discussions.
7. Previous experience in developing high level solution, budget/effort/schedule estimation.
8. Interface with senior management to develop, refine, and execute the strategy and IT roadmap.
9. Should be an expert on Data Center Infrastructure Design for IDF, MDF and overall user area, voice, LAN, WAN, Wifi is a must.
10. Experience in Cloud Computing and its various offerings like IaaS, PaaS, SaaS etc is good to have.
11. Ensure Traceability of requirements through design, implementation, and testing phases of the project.
12. Deep understanding on various aspects of technology such as:
1. Converged & Software Defined Infrastructure
2. Compute, Storage and backup
3. Data centre build and implementation
4. Network (LAN and WAN) & Security
5. Data Centre IDF, MDF room rack design with respect to network, server and other assets
6. LAN, WAN circuit design. Ability to liaise and build rapport with service providers.
