Transition Payroll Manager – 12 month FTC – London – Remote/ Hybrid – up to £90,000 per annum

Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be exclusively partnered with a global media company in London, looking for a Transition Payroll Manager, on a 12 month FTC basis. This role will lead, and stabilise payroll operations, whilst managing the international transition, and is on either a remote/ hybrid basis, based in their central London office.

The Transition Payroll Manager will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:

  • Stakeholder Management for outsourced payroll providers
  • Lead the payroll transition from across UK, EMEA and APAC
  • Establish and align payroll processes across geographies where current processes are fragmented or non-existent
  • Act as the escalation point for any payroll issues and ensure timely resolution with minimal business disruption
  • Oversee monthly salaried payroll globally, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Work with Workday and various bespoke regional systems, to support data integrity and reporting
  • Recommend and implement improvements to processes, controls, and provider SLAs

Key Skills

  • Previous success in managing international payroll transitions and/or carve-outs
  • Outsourced Vendor Management: Experience managing global payroll vendors across multiple geographies
  • International Scope: Experience with payroll in UK, EMEA, APAC, ideally including Nordics
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong verbal and written communication
