You Are:

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Business Process Management – a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to facilitate the transfer of projects from our UK operations to our India-based team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, exceptional knowledge of operations, and a proven track record of managing work transitions.

The Opportunity:

  • Lead the transition of projects from the UK to India, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Develop and implement transition plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with UK and India teams to understand and document existing processes.
  • Train and mentor, the India-based team on new processes and best practices.
  • Monitor the progress of the transition and address any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies during the transition.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Leverage experience in asset/wealth management operations to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Coordinate with project managers to align transition activities with overall project goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential transition issues.
  • Ensure seamless knowledge transfer and documentation of processes during the transition phase.
  • Oversee service take-on activities, ensuring new services are integrated smoothly into existing operations.
  • Provide expertise in managing service take-ons, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support.

What you need:

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on operations.
  • Proven track record of managing work transitions or similar projects.
  • Strong knowledge of the financial services industry and relevant domain expertise.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive mindset, able to manage uncertainty and anticipate problems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field; Master's preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using Excel or similar tools.
