Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in mechanical/electrical engineering is essential.

Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading Manufacturer in their search for a Transformer Services Lead Engineer to work at client sites across the UK.

For the successful Transformer Services Lead Engineer our client is offering:

• £18.93 p/hour + overtime (approx. £60,000 with overtime rate)
• Hours of Work Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:15, Friday 07:30 - 12:00
• Permanent

The role – Transformer Services Lead Engineer :

• In-house fitting and assembly of various types of distribution and power transformers
• Assist the Project Manager with support both in the factory and onsite
• Lead a team of engineers in the field for the provision of transformer installations and maintenance
• Fitting, painting, testing, wiring and many other tasks related to the installation of transformers

What our client is looking for in a Field Service Engineer :

• Hands-on experience of working within a mechanical/electrical engineering environment - ESSENTIAL
• Team Management / Leadership experience - ESSENTIAL
• Testing knowledge of either Transformers and/or switchgear - ESSENTIAL
• HNC or equivalent - DESIREABLE
• Full Driver License - ESSENTIAL
• Must be willing to work away from home
