Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Transformer to lead transformer projects within the power transmission and energy infrastructure sector. You will coordinate engineering, procurement, logistics and installation teams to deliver safely, on time and within budget.

The role offers office-based work for three months, then a hybrid pattern (3 days in the office, 2 days from home) after probation, with exposure to major electricity transmission and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ project management experience in power, engineering or heavy industry.
• Experience delivering complex technical or infrastructure projects.
• Strong planning, budgeting, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities.
• Awareness of Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and CDM Regulations 2015.

Responsibilities

• Manage transformer projects from initiation to completion, delivering against specs, schedules and budgets.
• Develop project plans and coordinate engineering, procurement, logistics and installation.
• Manage client relationships and liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Monitor progress, costs, risks and project performance with regular management updates.
• Support contract management, variations, change control and claims.
• Maintain project documentation, quality records and technical deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and health and safety legislation.
• Support tendering activities and contribute to continuous improvement.
