Job summary

Senploy is seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join a Further Education college in Greater Manchester on a temporary basis. You will support learners aged 16+ who are NEET and have significant additional needs, creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.

You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons, adapt approaches for SEND, and collaborate with support staff to monitor progress and EHCP outcomes, helping learners develop essential life skills and readiness for next steps.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for 16+ learners with significant additional needs.
• Support pre-entry learners working toward personalized goals and early development outcomes.
• Adapt teaching approaches for SEND, communication, sensory and behavioural needs.
• Promote independence, communication, social interaction and life skills.
• Collaborate with learning support assistants, therapists and college staff.
• Monitor learner progress and contribute to learning plans and EHCP outcomes.
