Job summary

Chorley Council and South Ribble Borough Council are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead transformation and Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) programmes. You will manage a portfolio of digital system merges, process improvements and customer service transformation across the two councils, ensuring benefits are realised and changes are embedded.

You’ll work with multi-disciplinary teams, engage stakeholders, and champion change while aligning governance and delivery with the LGR

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex projects involving change and transformation.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders to deliver benefits and improvements.
• Experience with change management approaches including discovery phases and process mapping.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels across the council.

Responsibilities

• Project managing a portfolio of transformation and LGR projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Ensuring governance and structured project and change management are in place.
• Working with multi-disciplinary teams and external partners to deliver meaningful improvements.
• Acting as a visible champion for change and supporting leaders to plan and deliver change.
