Job summary

Luton Council is seeking an experienced Improvement Project Manager to deliver the Children’s Services Improvement Programme. The role will coordinate multiple projects, manage plans, risks and reporting, and ensure value for money and efficiency.

Working across the Council and with external partners, you will build relationships, support decision-making and mentor colleagues. The role offers a pathway to improve outcomes for children and families in Luton, with flexible secondment/fixed-term

Qualifications

• Strong track record of managing complex change projects.
• Experience with risk, change and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to develop and deliver project plans and business cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple improvement and transformational projects.
• Manage project plans, risks, issues and reporting.
• Ensure delivery on time, within budget and to a high standard.
