Severn Trent is seeking a Transformation Project & Change Manager to lead transformational projects from concept to completion, blending project management, governance, risk management, and change practice.

Based at the Severn Trent Centre in Coventry, this role is 37 hours a week, predominantly onsite, with opportunities to shape strategy and deliver measurable business benefits. A full UK driving licence is essential.

We’re looking for passionate transformation professionals who can bring together strong project management discipline and effective change management practice to deliver meaningful business outcomes. We are looking for talented individuals who can turn strategy into structured delivery, while ensuring our people, customers and stakeholders are supported through change.

As a Transformation Project & Change Manager, you’ll lead one or more transformational projects from concept through to completion. From a project management perspective, you’ll be responsible for planning, governance, delivery control, risk management and ensuring work is delivered in line with our Project Life Cycle and Delivery Framework. From a change management perspective, you’ll focus on engagement, adoption, communication and making sure the benefits of change are embedded and sustained across the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading end-to-end project delivery, with clear plans, milestones, governance and controls in place
• Applying change management approaches to build stakeholder understanding, commitment and confidence
• Communicating progress through governance forums, while translating delivery activity into clear messages for the people impacted by change
• Setting direction for project teams, defining priorities and keeping delivery on track against agreed outcomes
• Matrix-managing change professionals, subject matter experts and delivery teams to align project execution with successful business adoption
• Creating a brilliant experience for customers and stakeholders by ensuring projects are delivered well and change lands effectively

You’ll be based at our Severn Trent Centre in Coventry. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week - majority of time onsite.

WHAT WE'R LOOKING FOR

To thrive in this role, you’ll be an experienced project manager with a broad range of delivery experience, ideally across complex, cross-functional or transformational environments. You’ll bring strong project management discipline, with the ability to shape clear plans, manage risks and dependencies, provide effective governance and drive delivery through to successful outcomes. Alongside this, you’ll understand what it takes to make change land well. We’re looking for someone with experience of embedding sustained change, supporting people and teams through transition, building stakeholder commitment and making sure benefits are realised and sustained after delivery. You’ll be proactive, organised and confident in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and influence stakeholders at all levels. Qualifications such as Prince2, APM, MSP or formal Change Management training are highly desirable and will help you hit the ground running.

A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
