Job description

Our international client is looking for a Transformation Manager to join their team for a freelance B2B contract that is 12 months long. This position is hybrid and you will need to go on-site in Sheffield 2 days a week. You will lead the delivery of strategic transformation within Enterprise Infrastructure with a focus on driving infrastructure standardisation, remediating nonstandard implementations, improving governance controls, and ensuring appropriate support models are in place.

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Location: 2 days a week on-site in Sheffield

Responsibilities

  • Business case development in partnership with the platform lead's architecture.
  • Define execution of the project plan.
  • Engagement with vendors to obtain resourcing where required.
  • Facilitate collaboration between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Representation of program projects at Steering Committees.
  • Definition of the agreement of plans to transition from a project into BAU operation.

Key skills and experience required

  • Proven experience in leading the delivery of a large-scale technology transformation strategy.
  • Combined technical program management skillset.
  • Understanding of the technology infrastructure relationship with consuming application services.
  • Expert relationship management ability to influence a diverse range of senior stakeholders.
  • Commercial experience, including partnership with vendors to deliver outcomes.
  • Budget resource management.
