Job description

As one of our Transformation Managers in Claims, you will lead the delivery of strategic and high-impact projects for Hastings, supporting operations and commercial teams to achieve significant savings and deliver a market-leading customer experience. You will partner with business leaders to design, develop, and deploy projects, prioritising changes to meet business needs. You will lead a project team including process design, digital resources, operational managers, data analysts, CX specialists, and others as required.

  1. Lead end-to-end transformation projects and programmes, defining delivery requirements and success criteria in collaboration with Commercial and Operational leads.
  2. Conduct detailed analyses of business operations, identify gaps, and propose innovative solutions.
  3. Mobilise and manage a delivery team with expertise from various functions, working cohesively as a single unit.
  4. Create, communicate, and align delivery plans across functions, integrating technical and operational changes.
  5. Identify opportunities for intelligent design, including automation and straight-through processing decisioning.
  6. Transition projects into a continuous test-and-learn phase post-delivery to optimise commercial and customer outcomes.
  7. Participate in the first-stage interview involving a case study, conducted via Microsoft Teams.

Essential experience includes substantial leadership in transformation roles, with a background in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, and Change Management. Proven ability to identify transformation opportunities and deliver results. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills at all organisational levels.
