Russell Tobin seeks a Transformation Lead to drive finance transformation across a global accounting function. You will lead 8 assistant accountants, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and deliver standardized processes with strong financial controls.

The role requires 7+ years in finance/transformation, SAP experience, and professional qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). A pharmaceutical or scientific industry background is preferred, with a 12‑month contract and hybrid work in Liverpool.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transformation Lead to drive finance transformation initiatives within a global Accounting Services function. This role will focus on improving accounting processes, strengthening financial controls, simplifying ways of working and implementing scalable, standardized processes across international teams.

You will lead a team of 8 Assistant Accountants and work closely with Finance, Technology, Shared Services and senior stakeholders to deliver meaningful operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities
