Talent Smart in Leeds is seeking an experienced Transformation Consultant for a 6-month contract to support a leading UK memberships organisation for medical professionals. The role is primarily on-site in Leeds (2-3 days per week) with an early October 2026 start, and is outside IR35.

You will drive the Transformation Management Office, delivering clear, executive-ready insights, robust governance, and a holistic view of delivery, risks and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience within a TMO, Transformation Office, Portfolio Office, PMO or enterprise change environment.
  • Proven experience supporting executive committees and senior governance forums.
  • A track record of modernising and improving established transformation/PMO functions.
  • Excellent executive reporting and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to turn complex information into meaningful insight.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • A proactive, pragmatic and delivery-focused approach.
  • Experience within a large, complex or regulated organisation would be advantageous.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

Transformation Consultant

We re partnering with the leading memberships organisation for medical professionals in the UK to appoint an experienced interim Transformation Executive Insight & Coordination Lead.

This is a high-impact role at the centre of the Transformation Management Office (TMO), with a clear mandate to bring greater structure, insight, pace and modern ways of working to the function.

We re particularly interested in someone who has come from a more traditional, old-school or cobwebbed transformation environment and has successfully taken a TMO into the modern era improving reporting, governance, executive visibility, ways of working and overall portfolio management.
