Job summary

Chelsea FC is seeking a Transformation Analyst to support strategy, transformation and analytics. Based at Stamford Bridge with occasional travel, the role is a fixed-term 3-month contract (paternity cover) full-time, reporting to Strategy, Transformation and Analytics. You will analyse data, develop dashboards and support senior leaders with strategic initiatives and business cases.

Qualifications

  • Experience in business analysis, transformation, or analytics is advantageous, but not required.
  • Experience in analyzing business performance data and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of key transformation and business improvement initiatives across the Club.
  • Gather, analyse and interpret operational, commercial and financial data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, presentations and performance tracking tools to support decision-making by senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct research, benchmarking and market analysis to inform strategic recommendations and business cases.
  • Support project and business leads in tracking project milestones, risks, dependencies and outcomes.
  • Assist in documenting current and future business processes, identifying opportunities for process optimisation and operational efficiencies.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, validate findings and support implementation activities.

JOB TITLE: Transformation Analyst

DEPARTMENT: Strategy, Transformation and Analytics

LOCATION: Stamford Bridge, with occasional travel as required

CONTRACT: Fixed Term (3 months, paternity cover), Full Time

JOB FUNCTION: Support the club, Management Committee and Directors in analysing critical business issues and structuring, sizing and executing new strategic initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of key transformation and business improvement initiatives across the Club.
  • Gather, analyse and interpret operational, commercial and financial data to identify trends, opportunities and risks.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, presentations and performance tracking tools to support decision-making by senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct research, benchmarking and market analysis to inform strategic recommendations and business cases.
  • Support project and business leads in tracking project milestones, risks, dependencies and outcomes.
  • Assist in documenting current and future business processes, identifying opportunities for process optimisation and operational efficiencies.

Person Specification:
Qualifications:
  • University level (Bachelor), minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent experience
Experience:
  • Experience in business analysis, transformation, strategy, consulting, analytics or a related role is advantageous, but not necessary. Graduate applicants are welcome
  • Exposure to analysing business performance data and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in developing and delivering written presentations based on research, data and analysis
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
