Staffordshire Police is seeking transferees for the rank of Detective Constable in the DC Adult Safeguarding Enquiry Team (PPU). This role offers a challenging career within a community-focused force and opportunities to apply experience in safeguarding investigations.

The posting is open to eligible police officers transferring from a Home Office force who meet the rank criteria and pass pre-employment checks.

Am I eligible?

• To apply to transfer to Staffordshire as a Police Constable, you must be substantive at the rank you are applying for and have completed and passed your probationary phase.
• You must be transferring from a Home Office Force
• Applications from Detective Constables must hold PIP2 accreditation
• Must not have a live complaint with your home force

Onboarding

We aim to make our onboarding process as smooth and straightforward as possible.

• You will be required to complete and pass a role-based interview which will focus on the competencies and values required for the role.
• We would like to know what skills you have to offer so that we can identify the most appropriate posting for you. (please note we will try to accommodate requests where possible but ultimately the patterns provided are around organisational need)
• Appointment will be dependent upon successfully passing pre‑employment checks, vetting, and medical, which will include a drugs test and a fitness test.
