A leading waste management company in Birmingham is seeking a site chemist to oversee chemical waste processes. The role involves receiving, testing, and ensuring compliance of hazardous waste. Ideal candidates will have an HND in Chemistry and 2+ years of relevant experience. This position offers a stable working environment with a full-time schedule.

SRG are working with a leading waste management and recycling company who have a long and very successful history of supporting the UK chemical industry. They are now looking for a site chemist to join the team in Birmingham. This is a hands-on role within the waste industry, you will be checking and testing incoming loads, processing hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring segregation and storage of hazardous waste meets requirements, labelling waste and completing documents on all incoming and outgoing chemical materials. This role would suit candidates with 2+ years’ experience as a chemist on a hazardous waste transfer station.
Working Hours: 37.5 working hours per week, Monday to Friday, 24 days holiday + statutory bank holidays. Access to Rewards Gateway offering excellent discounts and cash back with many large retailers.
