Job Title: Transfer Pricing Assistant Manager
The Responsibilities/Job Description
This role involves working on a range of projects, including:
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Interviewing clients to understand activities and value drivers for our clients’ businesses
- Determining key industry features across varied industries that influence the pricing of transactions
- Benchmarking market prices across industries and transaction types
- Documenting and designing pricing policies
- Drafting transfer pricing reports
- Supporting clients with tax authority enquiries and Advance Pricing Agreements
- Involvement in global documentation projects for transfer pricing reports across multiple jurisdictions
- Coordinating with KPMG’s transfer pricing, international tax, indirect tax, and other teams
- Coaching and developing junior staff
- Assisting with business development and marketing initiatives
The Person
We seek candidates with:
- Qualifications: CTA, CA, ACA, ACCA, or a degree in economics, finance, law, accounting, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of transfer pricing experience, including documentation, analyses, supporting tax enquiries, project management, and team management
- Sound judgement and risk evaluation skills
- High analytical skills and a commercial approach
- Drive, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
- Commercial awareness and a desire to develop expertise
- Technical updating willingness
- Understanding of ethical/risk issues in client service
- Strong interpersonal skills for client and team engagement
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Knowledge of technology applications in compliance is desirable

- Collaborating across teams and jurisdictions
- Coaching junior staff
- Contributing to process improvements and business development
What will you need to do it?
Qualifications and experience:
- CTA, CA, ACA, ACCA qualification or degree in relevant fields
- Minimum 3 years transfer pricing experience, including documentation and analyses
Skills:
- Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience in process design, change management, and risk evaluation
- Analytical skills and commercial mindset
- Enthusiasm and positive attitude
- Technical knowledge of transfer pricing compliance
- Excellent communication and team skills
- Understanding of technology in compliance is desirable
