Job Title: Transfer Pricing Assistant Manager
The Responsibilities/Job Description
This role involves working on a range of projects, including:
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Interviewing clients to understand activities and value drivers for their businesses
- Determining key industry features influencing transaction pricing
- Benchmarking market prices across industries and transaction types
- Documenting and designing transfer pricing policies
- Drafting transfer pricing reports
- Supporting clients with tax authority enquiries and Advance Pricing Agreements
- Involvement in global documentation projects for multiple jurisdictions
- Coordinating with various teams within KPMG on transfer pricing topics
- Coaching and developing junior staff
- Assisting with business development and marketing initiatives
The Person
We seek candidates with:
- Qualifications such as CTA, CA, ACA, ACCA, or a degree in economics, finance, law, accounting, or related fields
- At least 3 years of transfer pricing experience, including documentation, analyses, supporting tax enquiries, and project management
- Sound judgment and risk evaluation skills
- Strong analytical and commercial skills
- High motivation and positive attitude
- Commercial awareness and a desire to develop expertise
- Technical updating and ethical understanding
- Excellent communication, people skills, and project management abilities
- Understanding of technology in compliance (desirable)

- Conducting functional interviews to understand client activities
- Analyzing industry features influencing transaction pricing
- Preparing and reviewing benchmarking analyses
- Documenting transfer pricing policies
- Implementing KPMG’s transfer pricing technology
- Supporting clients with tax authority enquiries
- Coordinating with various teams across jurisdictions
- Coaching junior team members
- Contributing to team leadership and process improvements
- Leading or assisting in business development activities
What will you need to do it?
Qualifications and skills include:
- Qualifications such as CTA, CA, ACA, ACCA, or a degree in related fields
- At least 3 years of transfer pricing experience, including documentation and functional analyses
- Strong project management and stakeholder skills
- Experience in process design, change management, and risk evaluation
- Analytical, commercial, and technical skills
- Strong communication and people skills, with understanding of technology in compliance (desirable)
